About Your Practitioner
L.Ac., MS, MAOM
I started Wiser Health because I kept seeing the same pattern: women in their 40s and 50s coming in exhausted, foggy, and frustrated — told by their doctors that everything looked "normal" on paper, but knowing something was off.
I knew there was a better way to look at it. Functional lab testing, acupuncture, and a care model that actually takes time to listen — that combination changes things.
My practice is built around one idea: you deserve to feel like yourself. Not a managed version of yourself. Not a "for your age" version. Yourself.

My Story
"I built a practice I'd actually want to go to."
I came to acupuncture and functional medicine through my own health journey. Like many of my patients, I spent years feeling like something was off — and getting answers that didn't quite fit. That experience shaped how I practice.
I completed my Master of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine — a three-year clinical program rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over time, I became increasingly curious about how functional medicine could deepen that work, which led me to pursue a second graduate degree in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine. The two disciplines inform each other in ways I find endlessly useful.
For most patients, the work starts with a conversation and, often, labs. For some, functional testing, nutrition, and targeted supplementation get them where they want to go. For others, acupuncture becomes a meaningful part of the plan. It depends entirely on what you're dealing with and what your body responds to.
I work primarily with women navigating perimenopause and postmenopause, chronic fatigue, insomnia, hormonal imbalance, brain fog and skin health. My patients tend to be people who've tried the conventional route and are ready for something more thorough.
How I Practice
Symptoms are signals. I take the time to understand what's driving them — not just how to quiet them down.
Functional lab testing gives us real information to work with. I interpret your results through an optimal lens, not just a "normal" range.
Your health doesn't exist in a vacuum. Sleep, stress, nutrition, hormones — they're all connected, and your care plan reflects that.
I'm not interested in one-off visits. I want to know you, track your progress, and be a consistent presence in your health journey.
My Philosophy
The conventional medical model is built around diagnosing and treating disease. That's important — but it leaves a huge gap for the millions of people who don't have a diagnosable condition, but still don't feel well.
I practice at that gap. My goal is to help you understand your body well enough to optimize it — not just keep it out of the danger zone.
That means looking at your labs through an optimal lens, not just a normal one. It means asking why you're fatigued, not just ruling out anemia. It means treating you as a whole person with a history, a lifestyle, and a future — not a set of symptoms to be managed.
