Most clients find it very comfortable — the needles used are ultra-fine and the experience is often described as relaxing. Some mild sensation is normal.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on which treatment you're pursuing. For cosmetic acupuncture, the full course is 12 weekly sessions over 3 months — this is where you see the most complete, cumulative results. For microneedling, the initial series is 4 monthly sessions. Hair restoration typically requires 6 monthly sessions. The MN + CA combination package runs 4 months — 3 cosmetic acupuncture sessions plus one microneedling session per month. I'll give you a clear recommendation at your assessment based on your specific goals and where you're starting from.
Is there any downtime?
Cosmetic acupuncture has no downtime. Microneedling may cause mild redness for 24–48 hours, similar to a light sunburn.
