Hair Restoration

A root-cause approach to hair loss — addressing the hormonal, nutritional, and circulatory factors that determine whether your follicles thrive.

What It Is

Hair loss has a reason.
Let's find it.

Hair loss is rarely just a scalp problem. In most cases, it reflects something happening systemically — a hormonal shift, a nutritional gap, chronic stress, or an inflammatory process that has gone unaddressed.

My approach combines scalp acupuncture to directly stimulate follicle activity and circulation, with a whole-body assessment to identify and address the underlying drivers. For many patients, this means reviewing labs, discussing diet and stress, and building a plan that goes beyond the scalp.

I treat both men and women. While the causes and patterns of hair loss differ, the principle is the same: treat the root, not just the symptom.

Benefits

  • Stimulates circulation to the scalp and hair follicles
  • Supports the natural hair growth cycle
  • Addresses hormonal and nutritional root causes of hair loss
  • Reduces scalp inflammation that can impede follicle health
  • No pharmaceuticals, no systemic side effects
  • Suitable for both men and women
  • Pairs well with functional lab work to identify underlying causes
  • Complements other hair restoration approaches

Ideal For

  • Hormonal hair loss (perimenopause, postmenopause, postpartum)
  • Stress-related shedding (telogen effluvium)
  • Thinning hair without a clear diagnosis
  • Those seeking a natural, non-pharmaceutical approach
  • Anyone wanting to support scalp health proactively

Investment

Monthly sessions

  • Single session$210
  • Package of 6 (recommended starting point)$999

Save $261 vs. single-session pricing (~$44/session)

New patients start with a $180 skin assessment — a clinical evaluation and personalized treatment plan. All packages expire 12 months from purchase.

Some conditions — including more advanced hair loss — may require additional sessions beyond the initial 6-session course. This will be discussed at your assessment.

Why every session includes more than scalp treatment

Most hair restoration visits are a topical or device applied to the scalp alone. Every session here pairs LED light therapy with full-body acupuncture addressing the hormonal, circulatory, and systemic factors that often drive hair loss in the first place — not just the follicles themselves. You're getting a comprehensive treatment, not an isolated scalp procedure.

Who I Treat

Hair loss affects
everyone differently.

The causes, patterns, and best approaches differ between men and women — and even between individuals. I tailor every treatment plan accordingly.

Woman with healthy hair

Women

Hormonal hair loss is one of the most common — and most undertreated — symptoms of perimenopause and postmenopause. Declining estrogen and progesterone affect the hair growth cycle directly, often resulting in diffuse thinning across the crown and temples.

Postpartum shedding, thyroid dysfunction, iron deficiency, and chronic stress are other frequent contributors. I work to identify which factors are at play before building a treatment plan.

Man with healthy hair

Men

Hair loss doesn't have to be something you simply accept. Microneedling stimulates your scalp's natural repair processes to help support thicker, healthier-looking hair and has been shown in clinical studies to enhance hair growth — especially when combined with proven therapies. Whether you're noticing early thinning or want to preserve the hair you have, I offer a safe, minimally invasive option to help you stay ahead of hair loss.

For men interested in a comprehensive approach, we can also review labs and discuss nutritional and lifestyle factors that influence hair health.

A Note on Alopecia

Whether your hair is thinning due to genetics or certain types of non-scarring alopecia, microneedling can help stimulate the scalp's natural repair processes to support healthier, fuller-looking hair. Clinical studies have shown it can improve hair density and thickness — especially when incorporated into a comprehensive hair restoration plan tailored to your individual needs.

What to Expect

Your session,
step by step.

01

Review & Check-In

We review your assessment findings, any updates since your last visit, and confirm today's treatment focus before beginning.

02

LED Light Therapy

I start with LED light therapy applied to the scalp. Red and near-infrared wavelengths warm the tissue, reduce inflammation, and prime the follicles — setting the stage for everything that follows.

03

Body Acupuncture

Acupuncture points on the body address the underlying patterns driving hair loss — hormonal imbalance, blood deficiency, kidney and liver function. Needles are placed and remain throughout the session.

04

Scalp Microneedling

A medical-grade microneedling device is used across the scalp to create micro-channels that stimulate the dermal papilla cells responsible for hair growth and maximize absorption of any topical serums applied.

05

Rest & Close

You rest while the body acupuncture points finish their work. I remove the needles, do a brief check-in, and send you home with guidance on scalp care between sessions.

Session length: 45 minutes. Please arrive with clean, dry hair and avoid applying any products to your scalp beforehand.

Post-Treatment Care

Aftercare
instructions.

What you do between sessions matters as much as the treatment itself. Hair restoration is a slow process — consistency and follow-through make a real difference.

Avoid washing hair immediately

Wait at least 4–6 hours after treatment before washing your hair. This allows the scalp to settle and the treatment effects to take hold.

Skip heat styling for 24 hours

Avoid blow dryers, flat irons, and curling tools for the rest of the day. Heat can irritate a freshly treated scalp.

Stay hydrated

Drink plenty of water post-treatment. Hydration supports circulation — which is central to what I am trying to improve.

Gentle scalp massage at home

A 3–5 minute daily scalp massage between sessions can meaningfully support results. I will show you how.

Follow supplement guidance

If I have recommended specific nutrients — iron, zinc, biotin, adaptogens — consistency matters. Hair growth is slow; so is nutritional repletion.

Be patient with the timeline

Hair grows approximately half an inch per month. Meaningful changes in density and shedding typically become noticeable after 8–12 sessions. Progress is real, but gradual.
