Founder and Practitioner
I love getting people excited about possibilities. I’m driven by a passion for helping my patients lead healthy and happy lives by working with their body’s own innate abilities. I particularly enjoy working with women and couples to create healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. I have over 17 years experience working with reproductive and hormonal health, infertility and menstrual irregularities, and I’m quite comfortable working in concert with mainstream medical doctors. The goal is to help your body help itself.
I’m also a Proficiency Diplomate in the Shoemaker CIRS Protocol for treatment of mold-related illness and chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS), which often presents as complex illnesses such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
I earned my B.S. from Texas A&M’s School of Engineering, and after a career in sales and product management, at 37, I left my job in the semiconductor world and earned a Masters degree in Chinese medicine. As a first year graduate student, I wrote and published Blending the Boundaries: Steps Toward an Integration of Complementary and Alternative Medicine into Mainstream Practice (J. of Complementary and Alternative Medicine). I am certified by the Texas Medical Board and NCCAOM, and I was an inaugural fellow of ABORM (American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine). In 2018, I completed my second Masters degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the accredited University of Western States.
I love my dogs, my family, my friendships, the Oregon coast, and a good pinot noir. Since my first job at the local True Value at the age of 13, I thrive on helping others and solving problems. Mr. Rogers said to look for the helpers. Good job! You found one.
